Their mission is to make financing faster, easier, and more accessible for business owners.## Project DescriptionThe team is building backend services to automate the business loan decision process. his includes integrating with external partners to automate workflows such as pre-qualifying customers for loans. The project uses AWS serverless architecture, and you will work closely with both developers and stakeholders within an Agile team environment.## Technologies* Node.js* Python* REST APIs* Event-Driven Services* AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, SQS, SNS, EC2, STS, CloudFormation)* RDS (SQL & NoSQL)* CloudFormation Templates## What You'll Do* Participate in technical design sessions to define and document scalable backend solutions;* Design and develop RESTful and event-based microservices using AWS serverless tools (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, etc.);* Integrate backend services with internal systems and external Fintech partners;* Support SaaS/Cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability;* Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide consultative technical input;* Write, deploy, and manage infrastructure using CloudFormation Templates (CFTs);* Maintain and support legacy systems while transitioning to a modern backend architecture;* Mentor junior engineers;* Contribute to a culture of open communication, agile collaboration, and continuous improvement;## Job Requirements* 7+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js in production environments;* Strong experience designing and implementing REST and event-based services using AWS tools (Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, IAM, etc.);* Proven experience working with SaaS/Cloud-based systems and developing integration functionality;* Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, EC2, STS, IAM;* Experience with CloudFormation Templates (CFTs) for infrastructure deployment;* Strong understanding of RDS (both relational and non-relational databases);* Background in API development and deployment best practices;* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;* Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments;* Ability to work until 3 PM CST to support team coordination and delivery timelines;* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B2+ level);## Nice To Have* Experience in lending or financial services;* Experience with Python;* AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Certification;* Familiarity with SAFE, Test-Driven Development, and Agile frameworks;* Experience communicating with business users, technical teams, and management regarding technical design and product strategy;## What Do We OfferThe global benefits package includes:* Technical and non-technical training for professional and personal growth;* Internal conferences and meetups to learn from industry experts;* Support and mentorship from an experienced employee to help you professional grow and development;* Internal startup incubator;* Health insurance;* English courses;* Sports activities to promote a healthy lifestyle;* Flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities;* Referral program for bringing in new talent;* Work anniversary program and additional vacation days.We're always starting new projects and we'd love to work with you.
