Overview
Job Title: Solution Architect (Full-Stack | AWS | Startup Environment) Experience: 12-15 years Location: Onsite CA, USA Pleasanton, CA Responsibilities
Design and own end-to-end cloud-native architecture using AWS services for scalable, secure, and high-performance systems Lead backend development using Python and frontend development using React; guide mobile architecture decisions Architect and review microservices-based solutions leveraging Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, and API integrations Experience with data modelling across MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and event-driven data pipelines Establish and enforce quality engineering practices including test strategies, automation, performance, and reliability Mentor engineering teams on architecture, coding standards, cloud best practices, and DevOps principles Act as the primary onsite technical liaison with customers; gather requirements, propose solutions, and drive technical discussions Support rapid product iteration typical of startup environments while ensuring long-term architectural sustainability Required Technical Skills
Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) Strong experience in microservices and event-driven architectures Expert proficiency in Python backend development; solid experience with React and modern frontend frameworks; Experience with GraphQL is a plus Knowledge of web & mobile application architecture (iOS/Android integration patterns, backend-for-frontend concepts) Strong database design skills across relational and NoSQL technologies (MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, observability, scalability, and cloud security best practices Strong QA and testing expertise (automation, integration testing, performance testing, and quality governance) Other Required Skills & Attributes
Proven experience mentoring and leading senior engineering teams Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills in onsite/offshore delivery models Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make architectural decisions in ambiguous startup scenarios Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Prior experience working in startup or product-centric environments is highly preferred Experienced in working with Onshore-Offshore model delivery.
