Reporting to the Support Manager, the Exports Application Specialist is responsible for delivering business-to-business application support to Ceridian’s Dayforce customers. This role collaborates with client administrators (including payroll, HR, and IT administrators) and third-party vendors to champion customer priorities and drive integration incidents to closure. The Exports Application Specialist will combine excellent analytical, technical, and functional problem-solving skills with a keen business sense to deliver top notch customer-focused support. The Exports Application Specialist will also be involved in fixing programming gaps identified by Dayforce Customers post go-live that meet the documented customer requirements in the statement of work (SOW). Responsibilities:
Leverages strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve incidents and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing proactive support and consistently exceeding client expectations Confirm, gather, understand, and document customer requirements in collaboration with their 3 rd party vendors Collaborate with customers, Ceridian contacts and 3rd party vendors to conduct thorough testing to deliver a complete and high-quality solution Understand and adhere to Ceridian internal business processes to champion customer success Demonstrate expertise/knowledge of the Exports Integration platform and how various modules interact with and affect each other Fix and/or enhance Exports integrations through applied programming knowledge Understand, troubleshoot, and modify XML and XSLT code Understand, troubleshoot, and modify B2B Sterling code Reproducing and meticulously documenting software defects Assist with a wide variety of operational projects, including: Monitoring and maintaining the smooth execution of exports Programming and scripting tasks Enhancing the customer support experience Optimizing internal processes and procedures Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant software/computer related fields Knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#, .NET) High proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational database systems Knowledge or experience of SQL, XML, XSLT and B2B Sterling Superior communication, organizational and problem-solving skills Previous client support, consulting and/or project management experience French language proficiency is an advantage.
