Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans and procedures. Manage and control engineering changes through Change Control Boards (CCBs). Maintain and audit Bill of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and technical documentation. Manage configuration control databases and Product Data Management (PDM) systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Windchill). Ensure configuration records are accurate and up to date for customer delivery and regulatory compliance. Support product lifecycle activities from concept through sustainment. Required Skills: 3-5 years of experience in Configuration Engineering within aerospace or defense industry preferred. Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires either a US person or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. Desired Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Knowledge of Costpoint ERP system and/or other ERP systems. Experience with PLM systems for Engineering CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor and AutoCAD files. Mechanical design using 3D solid modeling tools. Knowledge of Mil, ASTM, ASME, IAW and other standards. Ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects. Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards. Background in systems engineering or configuration management. Working knowledge of configuration management standards (e.g. MIL-STD-973, EIA649). Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git, SVN) and document control systems. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day). Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse. Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read detailed technical drawings and computer screens.
