Accounting Manager (Remote)
Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a highly skilled
Accounting Manager
to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This individual will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency across multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all
general ledger activity
related to Work in Progress (WIP) and Deferred Revenue, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with Business Process Owners to oversee
North America payroll accounting , including salary, bonuses, commissions, severance, and related fringe costs.
Prepare and deliver supporting schedules for the firm’s
Accounts Receivable Securitization facility , working closely with Treasury to meet strict reporting deadlines.
Maintain the firm’s
global cash balance schedule , reconciling amounts to Treasury records and ensuring global bank reconciliations are completed per policy.
Review North America
prepaid expense schedules
and partner with international accounting teams for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and review
audit workpapers
provided to external auditors as part of the annual audit process.
Manage the firm’s
Balance Sheet Control Matrix , ensuring reconciliations are completed and reviewed within established timelines, while conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance.
Partner with finance and leadership stakeholders to maintain adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong technical background in
GAAP
and general ledger management.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
(preferred) and advanced Excel skills required.
Experience with
Blackline
(strongly preferred).
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and geographies.
Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to balance independent work with collaboration to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
