Overview
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a BE/BC pediatric physiatrist to join its team in the Division of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate should have an interest in spasticity, neuromuscular conditions, and brain injury, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. The physician will care for patients in our CARF-accredited inpatient unit and be responsible for inpatient consults and an outpatient clinical practice. The incoming physician will have the support of a full complement of pediatric specialists and services. This is a full-time employed position with the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity. JDHeC_DS Responsibilities
Provide inpatient consults in the CARF-accredited inpatient unit. Maintain an outpatient clinical practice. Collaborate with a full team of pediatric specialists and services. Demonstrate interest in spasticity, neuromuscular conditions, and brain injury. Qualifications
Board-eligible or board-certified (BE/BC) pediatric physiatrist. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Benefits
