Overview As a Senior Benefits Specialist, you will be a trusted expert in designing, administering, and enhancing employee benefits programs that support the organization’s overall business goals. You will ensure regulatory compliance, deliver a high-quality employee experience, and provide guidance to both HR colleagues and employees. By partnering with vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders, you’ll help create competitive, cost-effective benefits programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent. What You’ll Be Doing

Benefits Administration & Compliance – Manage day-to-day administration of health, retirement, and leave programs. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, COBRA) and maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS and vendor systems. Employee Support & Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee benefits inquiries. Provide education and resources to employees and HR teams, and collaborate with brokers to develop clear, engaging communications. Vendor & Partner Management – Partner with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues, evaluate vendors, manage renewals, and optimize service delivery. Program Strategy & Analysis – Recommend benefits program enhancements aligned with market competitiveness and organizational objectives. Analyze utilization, costs, and trends, support open enrollment, and lead wellness initiatives. Process Improvement & Projects – Lead or support special projects, system upgrades, and wellness initiatives. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, and mentor team members on benefits-related tasks. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate benefits administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices. Experience with UKG (UltiPro), Bswift, or other benefits administration platforms; advanced Excel skills preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in employee education. Professional certifications (CEBS, CBP, SHRM-CP/SCP, or PHR/SPHR) preferred. Core Competencies
