Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve a proactive EHS culture through both management engagement and employee ownership. Align plant-level safety and environmental programs with enterprise vision and regulatory expectations. Manage and maintain environmental permits, documentation, and compliance reporting (air, stormwater, etc.). Lead risk assessment processes to proactively identify and address hazards, enhancing critical hazard awareness and minimizing risk. Champion a strong safety culture through mentoring, coaching, and collaboration across all levels. Build and support EHS training and development systems that ensure continuous learning and regulatory compliance. Facilitate the safety committee and change management processes, helping the team respond effectively to evolving safety standards. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies. Job Requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): 2 or more years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments. Knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations. Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Past performance or lead safety training, conduct audits, and management compliance documentation. What Will Put You Ahead

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety, or related field. Experience managing environmental permitting and regulatory reporting (air, stormwater, etc.). Familiarity with industrial hygiene monitoring (e.g., noise, dust, carbon monoxide). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar professional certification. Background in corrugated manufacturing or paper converting environments. Working knowledge of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) practices. Expertise in key risk areas such as Hazardous Energy Control (LOTO), mobile equipment, and pedestrian safety. Benefits
