home page for more information. Position Summary: UNM Los Alamos anticipates hiring Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach online and/or face-to-face Yoga (PHED) courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. This is a continuous recruitment beginning in the Summer 2025 semester. Positions are contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollment levels and current course offering. UNM-Los Alamos is seeking qualified temporary part-time faculty members to teach lower division classes in various disciplines as specified above. UNM-LA instructors are responsible for all aspects of any class they are teaching including but not limited to meeting with the class during assigned times, content delivery, assignment development, grading assignments, reporting of grades, and assessment of student learning as outlined by the Program Coordinator. Strong preference is given to candidates who reside in New Mexico. Classes may be offered online or in person, depending on circumstances. Adjunct Faculty at the UNM Los Alamos campus are currently compensated at the rate of $1,017.60 per credit hour. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: One year of yoga instruction experience Certification required for teaching yoga Preferred Qualifications: Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
