Cooper Levenson is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team of professionals in Casino Defense Litigation/Employment Law.
Responsibilities
Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations.
Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
Prepares for and conducts depositions.
Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to New Jersey Bar.
2-4 years’ experience in Defense Litigation; Casino / Hospitality experience, preferred.
Strong understanding of Employment Law.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software programs.
Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters, helpful.

Schedule and Pay Range:
Full-time
In office: Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000
Work Location:
In person; Atlantic City, NJ
