ProTeX the PT Xperts, is a locally owned and nationally operated Geotechnical Engineering Firm, specializing in various concrete, soil, and asphalt testing within newly developing residential areas. The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting day-to-day HR functions. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, such as but not limited to new hire onboarding, conducting orientation classes, assisting employees with benefits selection. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality with all potential and current employee records. Your Role as an HR Generalist
Reports to the Head of Human Resources Maintain employee files and records Prepares interview packets for upcoming interviews Becomes main point of contact after offer is extended to ensure onboarding is efficient Ensure compliance with labor regulations Coordinate start dates with managers once the candidates have accepted their offer Partners with HR Manager to conduct orientation classes Assist new hire employees with making benefit selections and explaining the options available Partner with our benefits provider to manage yearly open enrollment, employee communication, and completion Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes when needed Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews Work Requirements/Skills
Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Multitasking while ensuring tasks get completed in a timely manner Must be able to handle and keep information confidential Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures Aptitude in problem-solving Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach Ascribe to the Values of the ProTeX – Integrity, Ownership and Teamwork Work Schedule
