Overview Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations expanding to 4 states / 11 locations. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting HR policies, supporting employee relations, recruitment, compliance, training, and performance management.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & On-boarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.

Recruiting & On-boarding: Coordinate with department heads to define job requirements.

Recruiting & On-boarding: Source candidates through job portals, agencies, and referrals.

Recruiting & On-boarding: Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews.

Recruiting & On-boarding: Prepare offer letters, contracts, and on-boarding documentation.

Recruiting & On-boarding: Ensure smooth on-boarding and orientation for new hires.

Employee Relations: Assist with employee questions.

Employee Relations: Facilitate early reviews for new hires to assure they receive communication for success.

Employee Relations: Support conflict resolution and disciplinary process.

Attendance and Payroll Support: Oversee daily attendance and leave tracking.

Attendance and Payroll Support: Assist with Leave Administration and required forms completion.

Attendance and Payroll Support: Verify time sheets are approved and time off is recorded as well as run payroll weekly.

Attendance and Payroll Support: Complete state forms such as unemployment, EEO reports, etc.

Attendance and Payroll Support: Assure garnishments get entered into payroll on a timely basis.

HR Administration: Manage employee files.

HR Administration: Support Lead employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

HR Administration: Provide reports needed to senior management.

HR Administration: Participate in supporting Safety initiatives.

HR Administration: Calling-in / recording workers comp claims and updating OSHA logs.

Associates Degree or above preferred.

5+ years in an HR function.

SHRM PHR or SPHR preferred

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
