Who They Are
Our client is the 5B global industry leader in commercial furniture manufacturing. They are looking for a Regional Education Account Manager to be based in Chicago to support a team based selling environment as the education specialist supporting higher education and K-12 accounts, as well as the A&D and dealership community across a three-state territory. Compensation is competitive and will land in the mid to high $100K range all-in, based on past data.
What You'll Do Lead sales efforts from lead generation to closing and retention Conduct showroom tours, mock-up presentations, and business reviews Build a trusting relationship with dealer teams and develop joint go-to-market strategies Build and foster relationships with large higher education institutions, A&D firms, and dealers within the territory Drive product specification through A&D and dealerships Collaborate interdepartmentally and with external partners Engage with industry trade organizations and monitor competitive landscape
What You'll Need Degree in Business, Real Estate, or Design, or equivalent experience 5+ years of sales experience is preferred Familiarity with the contract furniture industry, especially in education, is a plus Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is preferred Design background, K-12 and higher education is preferred Commercial furniture manufacturing industry expertise is strongly preferred Sales experience in long sales cycles preferred
