As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Design Center Assistant Manager to join our TEAM!**Responsibilities**:Assist with the daily operation of the Design Center department.Assist with project assignments and project planning.Manage department deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.Monitor project performance and progress.Guide the planning, design, and development of blankets to meet both internal quality standards and client expectations.Provide clear direction, motivation and mentorship to team members.**Position Requirements:**You must have the following credentials:Supervisor or Managerial experience of at least 5 employeesA preferred two-year college degree in an engineering technology design (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Associates in Applied Science, A.A.S.).Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in the use of AutoCAD/Solid Works and a working knowledge of mechanical systems.Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in flat pattern layout.Computer software skills in MS Office.“Hand Mechanical Drawing Skills” for obtaining field take-off information.Construction site experience is a plus.Be physically fit for site work.Be willing to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.Have a valid driver’s license.You’ll be part of a culture where precision, teamwork, and growth are all part of the design process.
