What You’ll Do
Lead stormwater and hydrology designs that matter—transforming complex challenges into sustainable, community-friendly solutions.
Develop stormwater management designs and prepare hydraulic/hydrology calculations and studies
Author Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and intake forms for Standard and Priority Development Projects
Create innovative preliminary stormwater strategies with cross-functional teams
Design in AutoCAD Civil3D 2022, integrating BMPs with grading plans
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with local/state regulations
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Lead technical resubmittals, address agency comments, and manage project deadlines
Assist in proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives
Your Qualifications
5–7+ years of experience in civil or water resources engineering
Licensed PE in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Proficiency in SWMM, AES, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior staff
Familiarity with hydrology models, environmental review processes, and permit compliance
Bonus: Experience with Microstation and GIS/mapping tools
