Location: Charlotte, NC Typical Duties

Perform and/or conduct hydrologic analysis, hydraulic analysis, and water quality analysis of open channel and/or closed conduit stormwater collection systems for large and small-scale development projects and watersheds. Preparation and review of one- and two-dimensional hydrologic/hydraulic models, FEMA CLOMR/LOMR applications, documents and exhibits and drainage reports. Ability to effectively interpret and communicate model input parameters, assumptions and results with an understanding of how to apply a level of engineering judgement to troubleshoot model anomalies. Ability to design site-specific best management practices (BMPs) to achieve permitting requirements including conventional, low impact development, green infrastructure and stormwater volume control BMPs. Ability to perform opinions of construction costs for stormwater related projects, including open/closed system drainage rehabilitation, canals and flood control structures. Preferred - Ability to use HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, XPSWMM, ArcMap, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS Office. Requirements

5+ years of experience. An understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. EIT registration strongly preferred. Ability to obtain Professional Engineer License within one year of hire strongly preferred. Skills

Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and organization skills. Must be willing to work in a team setting with great communication skills. Ability to learn various software programs. Benefits
