Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret data to underpin planning projects
Prepare planning analyses for zoning, entitlements, and environmental review (e.g. EAF, EIS)
Develop GIS maps, reports, presentation graphics, and materials for client/public meetings
Coordinate project workflows, applications, agency meetings, and regulatory compliance
Deliver on project schedules and required deliverables
Attend municipal meetings (evenings) on behalf of clients, as needed
Required qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in planning, urban design, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments, independently or in collaborative team settings
Proficiency or aptitude to learn: MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, IMPLAN, Adobe Creative Suite
Interest in working across disciplines with landscape architects, land planners, and civil engineers
Preferred
AICP certification (or working toward eligibility)
Experience with SEQR or New York municipal land use approvals
