Construction Manager – DAS / Inbuilding
Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise. The Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of installation work at customer locations / job sites to ensure that the field crews and/or technicians complete the assigned tasks, safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism. This includes managing any and all subcontractors / vendors who must also meet or exceed CTS standards for safety and quality. Responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously. • Create Project Schedules and track/communicate daily progress with customers and senior management. • Conduct site surveys and scope & quote. • Produce fiber diagrams, rack elevations. • Ensure safety compliance and document it. • Perform QA/QC of all projects to meet CTS standards. • Prepare and submit project closeout packages to customers. • Provide weekly updates on the financial status of all projects. Qualifications / Technical Skills
Ability to read blueprints and Visio & iBwave drawings. Ability to determine BoM and ordering of project materials. Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously. Experience creating project schedules and tracking/communicating daily progress with customers and senior management. Experience conducting site surveys and the ability to scope & quote. Proficient at production of fiber diagrams, rack elevations. Thorough understanding of fiber optics construction, splicing and OTDR, spectrum analyzer (Anritsu), signal generator and similar test equipment. Hands-on experience with PIM / RL Sweep testing, including knowledge to read sweeps and manage test results. Project closeout package preparation and submittal to customer. Safety compliance monitoring and documentation. QA/QC of all projects assigned to meet CTS standards. Weekly reports/updates on the financial status of all projects.
