We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team in providing exceptional care for individuals with autism. Located in our facilities, this role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of nursing practices while aligning with our mission to support the autism community. Responsibilities
Oversee nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare and oversight agencies’ regulations. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with best practices. Manage nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans for residents. Ensure quality assurance through regular audits and documentation reviews. Advocate for patient needs and coordinate with families for optimal care. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary. Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and healthcare regulation. Qualifications
BSN required, MSN preferred Active NYS Nursing License 5+ years of leadership experience 3+ years working with the ID/DD population Excellent organizational and writing skills
