Day (United States of America) Salary Range:
$86,650.99 - $134,309.04 The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs technical procedures, assists in clinical evaluation and patient care, and ensures safety and quality control in accordance with NY State regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and supporting departmental accreditation and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and develop imaging skills, contribute to a professional environment Comply with hospital policies, state, and accreditation standards Assist physicians during procedures Ensure a safe, positive patient experience Support departmental accreditations Handle on-call duties and radiopharmaceutical preparation Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals Accurately enter patient data Qualifications: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Associate's Degree from an accredited AMA Nuclear Medicine program 4-6 years of relevant experience Ability to perform independently and mentor others Proficiency with clinical imaging software Leadership skills; effective communication Mathematical and analytical skills for dose calculations Certification: ARDMS or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, NMTCB - upon hire Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, lifting, handling, and other physical activities as detailed. Working Conditions:
