Division Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology
The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an ABR/AOBR-certified or eligible radiologist with subspecialty pediatric neuroradiology fellowship training to be the Division Director of Neuroradiology. Institutional growth and program expansion has created a dynamic environment for our next neuroimaging leader.
The case mix is diverse, ranging from basic outpatient radiographic diagnoses to complex imaging on tertiary and quaternary referral patients. The preferred candidate must have solid skills in all aspects of pediatric neuroradiology, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach to delivering imaging care, and a clear vision for the future of pediatric neuroradiology.
The division currently has 8 faculty members interpreting nearly 13,000 MRI examinations per year. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has a strong epilepsy program and collaborations with neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neurodevelopment, and genetics. Multidisciplinary conferences are among the most robust in the institution, with the Friday neuroimaging case conference highlighted each week.
Responsibilities
Lead the Divison of Neuroradiology, overseeing clinical service, teaching, and research activities.
Provide expert pediatric neuroradiology interpretation across a diverse case mix.
Foster collaboration with clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging care.
Support and participate in multidisciplinary conferences and program development.
Qualifications
ABR/AOBR-certified or eligible in radiology with subspecialty pediatric neuroradiology fellowship training.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a vision for the future of pediatric neuroradiology.
Department and Resources
45 clinical faculty; 12 research PhDs.
One of the largest fellowship programs in the country, including pediatric neuroradiology fellows.
Annual imaging volume of approximately 280,000 studies across multiple sites.
State-of-the-art imaging equipment, including 13 clinical MRI systems (including a dedicated 3T neonatal MRI) and 3 dedicated research MRI systems.
Research and administrative time provided to all faculty; startup funding available within the department and hospital.
