Responsibilities

Inspire and Lead:

Supervision of the Upward Bound Program at Clear Lake High School, guiding and supporting a dedicated team of staff and students.

Create Impact:

Develop and implement dynamic, student-centered programs with a focus on curriculum and teaching.

Be a Changemaker:

Oversee program operations, budget management, and ensure compliance with university and agency policies.

Work Site Location Duties take place mostly in an office setting located at Ukiah High School, including some offsite location work at Clear Lake High.

Qualifications This position requires a minimum of three years' experience in personnel supervision and evaluation, program development and evaluation, and fiscal management, along with three years of progressively responsible and applicable management and/or supervisory experience. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid California teaching or pupil personnel services credential is highly preferred.

Salary and Benefits Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $4,500 to $4,800 per month. This is a full-time, fixed-term position. Reappointment depends on performance and budgetary considerations.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year. The university is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer.
