Minimum Qualifications: The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a terminal degree in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, or a closely related area. Candidates nearing completion of the terminal degree may be considered; however, all requirements for conferral of the degree must be met no later than the start date. Candidates must have the ability to successfully teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology. They must demonstrate a line of professional and scholarly inquiry as evidenced by submission of peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations commensurate with academic experience. Candidates must also provide evidence of their commitment to, or experience, promoting and fostering an inclusive learning environment that is supportive of diverse learners. Responsibilities: This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.
