R0057897## **Position Title:**Manager, Data Center Infrastructure## **Department:**Information Systems## **Job Description:**The Mgr Infrastructure provides technical and managerial leadership in the design, planning, operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of infrastructure administration. This position ensures continuity and alignment of the infrastructure with strategic business requirements, and participates in architecting the server infrastructure and in the development of guidelines, procedures, and standards. This position must stay abreast of latest technology developments to ensure service levels proactively meet or exceed company requirements and service level agreements with key stakeholders and vendors. Administrative duties including resource management, budgeting, presenting team status, and vendor relations are all essential duties.**Essential Responsibilities:***Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.** Lead the design and architecture of secure and scalable VSI solutions for the entire enterprise* Provide leadership, coordination, and communication for projects involving systems solutions* Develop and maintain policies, architecture, frameworks, roadmaps, and standards that deliver strategic IT goals, business priorities, and comply with technical and industry/regulatory standards* Data analysis of complex systems as well as ongoing optimization of such systems* Supervise Systems Engineering team to address day-to-day issues and develop and execute longer term initiatives* Provide Tier III support for all infrastructure components* Propose solutions that have a budgetary component* Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions* Mentor and manage team members both technically and professional to develop a mature team capable of meeting business requirements**General Responsibilities:*** Performs other duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications:****Education:** Bachelor's Degree required.**Experience:** 5 or more years of experience in voice network engineering with at least 3 years of progressive leadership experience required.**Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required:** One of the following certifications required within 2 years of hire:* VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization* VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design* VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Deploy* Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Ability to manage a team* Demonstrate a management style that encourages mentorship, teamwork, participation, communication, and service orientation* Effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to think creatively and be agile* Ability to analyze complex information and solve problems* Expert ability to collaborate with peers including interdepartmental and clinical* Ability to communicate with all levels of management* Effective and professional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills* Expert ability to operate, communicate, and manage staff and key stakeholders during times of high impact outages or unplanned interruption in services* Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis* Demonstrate executive presence and thorough thinking while being knowledgeable across all levels of the enterprise## **Current OU Health Employees - Please click** **to login.**## **OU Health is an equal opportunity employer.
