Job Description - Microsoft Systems Administrator (250000II) The Microsoft Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Windows 365 Cloud PCs. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient operation of core Microsoft services and provides Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues. Primary Location

Full-time Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Create, configure, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce compliance and security standards. Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Administer user and license management in Microsoft 365. Configure and deploy Intune device compliance, security, and configuration policies. Manage Windows Autopilot enrollment and device lifecycle. Deploy and support Windows 365 Cloud PCs, ensuring performance and security compliance. Provide Tier 3 support for Microsoft technologies and resolve escalated technical issues. Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and diagrams. Monitor system performance, availability, and security across Microsoft platforms. Assist with security compliance, audits, and reporting as required. Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and service management. Experience configuring and managing Intune policies, compliance, and application deployments. Familiarity with Windows 365 Cloud PC administration. Ability to write and execute PowerShell scripts for administration and automation. Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of security best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MD-102, SC-300, or AZ-104. Experience with Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure AD identity management. Familiarity with hybrid identity environments (Azure AD Co-Management). Excellent documentation and communication skills. Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and implementations. Maintain system documentation, procedures, and change management records. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. Skills: Agile Methodologies:
Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery. Cloud Computing:
Knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies; ability to design, develop, support and manage cloud computing products. Hardware Infrastructure:
Knowledge of computer architecture and systems programming; ability to design, build and integrate IT hardware into multi-platforms for the organization. Network Engineering:
Knowledge of the processes, tools and technologies for network engineering; ability to utilize and manage these for planning, designing, construction and support of wireline and wireless networks. Systems Software Infrastructure:
Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools. Vendor/Supplier Management:
Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers). Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
