We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods in the food and beverage industry, known for innovative products crafted with quality ingredients and paired with outstanding customer care. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and play a key role in supporting our continued growth. In this role, you will manage core accounting functions, lead month-end closing activities, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide financial reporting and analysis that guides business decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within the food and beverage sector. Responsibilities

Take ownership of daily accounting operations by ensuring that accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies. Review and approve postings while addressing discrepancies in a timely manner. Lead all aspects of the month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising accuracy. Provide leadership with clear, actionable financial results. Manage daily and weekly cash flow forecasting, anticipating needs, monitoring variances, and ensuring sufficient liquidity to support purchasing, payroll, and other operational requirements. Oversee banking relationships by monitoring balances across multiple accounts, ensuring loan compliance, reconciling activity, and maintaining healthy credit and cash positions. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and rolling forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations to leadership for improved performance and cost control. Establish, monitor, and continuously improve internal financial controls, policies, and procedures that safeguard company assets and strengthen reporting integrity. Partner closely with company leadership to deliver financial insights, evaluate business initiatives, and contribute to long-term planning and strategic growth decisions. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies. Provide timely documentation and responses to ensure compliance with all requirements. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within manufacturing. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to leadership.
