Wireless Network Engineer
who will be responsible for doing wireless surveys within networks. The network engineer will be
hybrid
in
RTP, NC. Responsibilities for the Wireless Network Engineer include: -
Provide operational support for complex Wi-fi network deployments and configurations -
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and RF issues across various client environments -
Conduct predictive and on-site RF surveys -
Assist in high-level and low-level wireless network design activities -
Support network implementation planning, configuration, and test execution -
Travel 50% or more to customer sites for surveys, deployments, and troubleshooting Requirements for the Wireless Network Engineer include: -
5+ years of experience in the IT or Network industry -
Experience with RF design, including predictive modeling and AP-on-a-stick surveys -
Working knowledge of Layer 3 protocols -
Basic understanding of LAN switching and layer 2 troubleshooting -
Deep understanding of Ekahau or AirMagnet tools -
Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Compensation for the Wireless Network Engineer includes: -
Salary range: $90,000 - $133,000 -
