Job Summary

Provides transactional support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the Finance and Accounting function of Sevillo, including data entry, posting of transactions in the sub-ledgers and reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger in NetSuite. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with maintaining the fixed asset system Assist with cost accounting analysis. Assist Accounts Payable with daily activities: vouchering invoices, paying invoices, reconciling vendor statements and troubleshooting issues. Produce invoices for sales orders which have been shipped Receive and process bill-backs from customers for discount and incentives Apply payments received from customer to the requisition invoices on the remittance advices Resolve open customer inquiries Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform audits. Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies. Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required. 3+ years of related experience required. Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to correctly prepare tax reports. Ability to work independently and is self-sufficient NetSuite ERP experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
