Senior Accounting Recruiter
to help attract and retain top financial and accounting talent. Position Overview
The Senior Accounting Recruiter will play a vital role in leading full-cycle recruitment for accounting, finance, and tax professionals within a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting experience within the
accounting and finance sectors , a sharp understanding of technical skill sets, and a proven ability to build lasting relationships with hiring managers and leadership. A track record of stability and professionalism is key for success in this role. Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for accounting, tax, and financial roles—from intake to offer stage. Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, priorities, and desired candidate profiles. Source qualified talent through multiple channels, including job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach. Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical qualifications and cultural fit. Coordinate interview logistics and communicate updates to hiring leaders and executives. Draft and post engaging job descriptions and maintain requisition accuracy. Conduct professional reference checks and assist with background verification. Track recruiting metrics and maintain compliance within the applicant tracking system. Represent the company’s values of professionalism, collaboration, and integrity in every interaction. Qualifications
8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience , including
at least 5years recruiting for accounting, finance, or tax roles. Strong understanding of accounting functions, tax preparation roles, and financial operations. Proven success in high-volume or specialized recruiting environments. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is highly preferred. Demonstrated career stability and commitment to long-term organizational growth. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
