The SVP Strategic Finance plays a crucial role in guiding the organization's financial strategy, decision-making, and performance. This leadership position leads and contributes to the financial analysis, modeling, and investment evaluation to drive business growth and maximize stakeholder value. The SVP Strategic Finance will work closely with senior management and the board of directors to provide actionable financial insights, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and lead financial processes that promote cross-functional collaboration within the Farm Credit System. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world. Job Functions

Financial Strategy and Leadership

Develops, refines and recommends financial strategies, encompassing Treasury and Controller functions, that align with organizational goals and maximize stakeholder value Provides financial insights and guidance to senior management and the board of directors, presenting financial sensitivities, decision criteria, and recommendations to inform strategic decision making Serves as a trusted advisor on financial matters, ensuring decisions support long-term business growth and sustainability Oversees the development of financial policies and frameworks that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across AgriBank Leverages experience to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business key financial and operational risks and opportunities Financial Analysis and Modeling

Leads the short- and long-term financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes for AgriBank Leads the creation and maintenance of financial models to support strategic decisions, investment evaluations, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning Leads the analysis of financial data, performance metrics and industry trends to identify trends, variances and risks Analyzes performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop insights that assist in making informed decisions and drive the financial health and outlook of the organization Develops key financial sensitivities and scenario analysis to help navigate evolving market conditions and challenges Evaluates and optimizes capital structure, financing strategies, and investment opportunities to maximize stakeholder value and support growth capacity Translates complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management and the board of directors Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Improvement

Develops and improves financial planning processes that integrate input from multiple departments across AgriBank Fosters collaboration between finance and other business units to ensure alignment with organizational priorities Partners with cross-functional teams to identify new initiatives and quantify the financial impact Champions the use of data and analytics to support strategic decision-making across functions Leads discussions and financial processes that foster collaboration across the Farm Credit System Staff Management

Selects, evaluates, trains and motivates team members Leads development discussions to identify gaps in skills, areas of growth and team member engagement opportunities Assigns work and provides work guidance and direction Communicates and implements performance standards Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, promoting teamwork, professional development, and excellence in performance * Essential Functions for this position consist of all items listed under any category that make up 5% or more of the job duties. Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or finance or equivalent experience is preferred. Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Accountant (CA), is preferred. 15+ years of proven experience in finance leadership roles, with a track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and business performance improvement. Required Knowledge and Skills

Deep Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards and regulatory requirements applicable to AgriBank\'s industry and geographic locations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts and insights to non-financial stakeholders effectively. Strong leadership abilities, including vision, integrity, and strategic thinking, with the capability to inspire and motivate teams. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior executives and board members. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and modeling techniques. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving financial performance, maximizing profitability, and creating long-term stakeholder value. Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting AgriBank’s financial operations and performance. Physical Requirements

The typical base range for this role is between $239,645 - $392,857. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
