Kitchen Tune-Up is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking a dedicated Lead Cabinet Installation Specialist to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking a career minded remodeler or construction professional who is willing to bring their experience, learn new techniques and is looking for a stable, well-paying career. This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power hand tools is required. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet redooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects. Arrive to the job site on time in appropriate work clothing. Follow instructions given by the project manager. Follow Kitchen Tune-Up’s customer service Trustpoints on every project and job site. Keep work area clean and orderly, and clean up daily. Communicate with the project manager daily about the progress. Perform accurate measurements for remodeling projects Place and track product orders, inspect materials upon arrival, and oversee warehouse logistics. Transport materials to and from the jobsite. Manage product inventory. Prepare job site for projects and break down and clean up when complete. Perform cabinet
refacing
using high-quality RTF and wood materials to transform kitchens without full replacement Apply professional-grade
cabinet painting
techniques for a factory-finish look that revitalizes existing cabinetry Perform demo of existing kitchens as jobs require. Perform cabinet modifications and installations. Perform door, panel, drawer, and hardware installations. Perform cabinet storage solution installations. Measure, cut, and install veneer and moldings (ISC, OSC, toe kick, baseboards, casings, crown, etc.). Work quickly and efficiently. Work well as part of a team. Respect customers and their homes. Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions Excellent in Assembling and installation of cabinets Ability of cabinet modification and customization Able to drill for hinges Able to install doors and drawer fronts Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets Ability to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time Must communicate effectively Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record • Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Additional Skills (preferred but not required) Prior experience in cabinet refacing. Prior experience in painting cabinets. Prior experience in cabinet resurfacing. Prior experience in wood restoration. Prior experience in installing flooring (wood, LVT and/or Tile). Prior experience in installing tile backsplash.
