NextEra Energy The Senior PGD Engineer role supports Industrial Control System (ICS) in the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) space, and the implementation of Cybersecurity requirements in fossil, renewable and control center operational environments. Team members in this role will work in conjunction with subject matter experts on ICS security design, configuration, and maintenance in operational technology (OT) environments. Responsibilities: Plans and directs process designs, procurement, integration, and maintenance of the Bulk Electric System (BES) Cybersecurity projects and tools. Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing BES Cybersecurity processes. Develops and delivers a compliant cybersecurity service delivery model in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Applies knowledge and experience in own discipline, while continuing to acquire and develop higher-level knowledge and skills. Builds and promotes knowledge of the organization, team, processes, and customers. Supports NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements, audits, and evidence. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 5+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced experience and understanding of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standard requirements. Experience implementing BES security control programs and projects. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
