We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety ( EHS ) Manager to lead site-level programs that ensure a safe and compliant workplace. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies, training, and compliance initiatives to protect employees, equipment, and facilities. Responsibilities

Develop and implement annual Health & Safety action plans tailored to the site’s needs. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures through audits and performance indicators. Design and oversee training programs and awareness initiatives to promote a safety-first culture. Advise and support departments on risk prevention, workplace safety, and equipment compliance. Lead site safety committees, management safety visits, and cross-audits. Conduct incident and accident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions. Manage emergency preparedness plans, simulations, and response activities. Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and regulatory agencies. Oversee chemical risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in health and safety practices. Qualifications & Experience

Strong technical knowledge (chemistry, physiology, biology, etc.) and ability to communicate with operations teams. Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.) and standards such as OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001. Skilled in risk analysis, emergency response, fire prevention, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify hazards, reduce risk, and promote a culture of continuous safety improvement. Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. 3–5 years of professional experience in an EHS role. HSE certifications (OSHA General Certificate or equivalent) preferred. Demonstrated success managing regulatory compliance and safety initiatives in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform safety inspections and training. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
