POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for organizing, implementing, administering, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs within the scope of company requirements and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across multiple locations. Identify HSE hazards and establish controls to mitigate risks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards. Manage ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems to assess and control HSE risks. Participate in and/or lead internal audits and inspections, recommending corrective actions. Perform and update HSE Risk Assessments according to facility guidelines and international standards such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001. Identify workplace safety and environmental hazards related to processes, services, and products. Support the management of environmental and OSHA regulatory reporting and record-keeping requirements. Conduct site audits, evaluate compliance, and identify improvement areas. Assist in invoice scanning and coding for approval. Employee Engagement: Support or lead the facility safety team. Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HSE matters. Lead HSE projects with employee involvement. Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition programs related to HSE. Lead investigations into environmental and safety incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented promptly. Emergency Preparedness and Response: Understand potential emergency situations and assist in implementing response plans. Manage contractor HSE programs to oversee onsite contractor activities. Implement all requirements related to chemical management, including approvals, labeling, training, and disposal. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: 2-4 years of HSE experience required. Relevant certifications preferred (CSP, Internal Auditor, First Aid/CPR). Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of safety codes such as OSHA 1910 and other agencies. Knowledge of environmental codes such as EPA 40CFR. Experience with Behavior-Based Safety, e.g., DuPont STOP, is a plus.
