As part of the Financial Services Industry team, you’ll work with private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll gain knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and provide audit, tax, and value creation services. You’ll collaborate with other industry and service line teams to deliver technical excellence and client service. Responsibilities
Drive client engagements Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements Demonstrate professional creativity in client matters and suggest improvements to client operations Analyze client transactions, identify problems, and conduct appropriate research Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments Oversee, mentor, and develop staff Qualifications
5+ years of experience in public accounting Financial Services experience required Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills with knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Bachelor’s Degree required CPA licensure required Exceptional client service and communication skills Leadership and mentoring abilities, with strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills Entrepreneurial spirit Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare or ProSystem fx) Excellent organizational and communication skills Compensation and Benefits
In California, the salary range for an
Assurance Manager
