School Psychologist

School Psychologist AB Staffing is looking for experienced School Psychologists for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year. Job Description: Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School. Caseload and classroom type will differ based on school location. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 35 to 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar. Pay: $2,625.00 – $2,800.00/week DOE and location Qualifications: Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling. Active license in the state of Missouri for Psychology. Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations; experience in school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrate initiative. Physical requirements include standing or sitting for extended periods, seeing and reading printed or digital material, hearing speech, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Essential Functions: Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in the school setting for initial psychological assessments and reevaluations of children in special education programs. Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead multidisciplinary team in identifying students with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders. Communicate assessment results and recommendations verbally and in written reports. Participate in eligibility and program decisions to meet students' needs.
