Duties
Teach undergraduate physics courses and electronics (analog, digital and computer) courses that support the Electronics Engineering Technology program. Engage in scholarly research and supervise undergraduate research projects. Provide effective instruction in multiple modalities, including in-person, remote, and hybrid (simultaneous in-person and distance) formats. Advise and mentor students in both physics and electronics-related areas. Contribute to departmental and university service. The successful candidate will need to complete distance education training programs as made available by the University within two years of hire for the purpose of teaching in a multi-campus environment with remote teaching needs. Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience in electronics (analog, digital, and computer). Interest or experience in supervising interdisciplinary undergraduate research. Background in cutting edge research, such as Quantum Information Science (QIS) or similar. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics or Applied/Engineering Physics (ABD candidates considered with evidence of timely completion).
