Assistant Professor - Bellini College of AI, Cybersecurity & Computing (Finance)
Applications are invited for multiple tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing at the University of South Florida. This college focuses on high-impact research in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and computing, and seeks candidates whose work aligns with strategic, high-potential areas for federal funding.
Areas of interest include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, computing systems, networking, human-centered computing, edge computing, computing architectures, and ethics and trust in technology. Faculty joining the College will have the opportunity to shape a college poised for growth in reputation and research impact.
Overview of the College and Context The Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing at the University of South Florida is Florida’s first college dedicated to AI, cybersecurity, and computing in a single entity. Opened in 2025 and supported by a $40 million gift from Arnie and Lauren Bellini, the college comprises 67 faculty members and participates in a broader collaboration with USF’s 200+ faculty across AI, cybersecurity, and computing. USF’s research spending in computer and information sciences is strong, and the college maintains partnerships and designation relevant to cybersecurity education and research.
Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution at the time of hire (or the highest degree appropriate in the field) with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Applicants must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
