**Job Title:** Senior Associate Scientist**Location**: Cambridge MA**About the Job**We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Genomics Medicine Unit at Sanofi and play a role in executing *in vivo* studies to develop best in class gene therapies.
The successful candidate will support *in vivo* experiments to help with the development of gene therapy and other strategies addressing neurologic, neuromuscular, immunology, ocular, rare blood, renal and metabolic diseases and participate in the successful translation of pre-clinical gene therapy programs. **Main Responsibilities:** **Specifically, the successful candidate will be able to:** * Execute rodent pharmacology studies that evaluate gene therapy candidates* Contribute to several experiments simultaneously and perform in a time sensitive manner* Develop and carry out research involving various animal laboratory techniques including surgery, therapeutic administration, behavioral testing, and tissue / blood collection* Communicate and coordinate with other scientists on the project team to draft, finalize, and implement study protocols.
