Seattle Washington (greater Seattle area) Job Description Exceptional craft beer, food and lively experiences! Locally owned and operated brewery with unique and popular restaurants is seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Sous Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead their casual atmosphere, high volume, full service waterfront alehouse. Their company goal is to enrich the lives of their guests and their employees. They believe that their employees are their most important resource and their success depends upon creating and retaining a staff capable of delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest, every time. As Sous Chef, you are responsible for actively (hands on) performing all the kitchen duties while working with the Chef to oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve superior results. Responsibilities include sales, cost controls, employee training and retention, guest satisfaction, cleanliness & sanitation, all while maintaining a positive and lively work environment. Requirements

Ideal candidate will have the following: Minimum 5 years’ experience in varied kitchen positions. At least 6 months experience as a supervisor, Sous Chef, or Assistant Kitchen Manager. Ability to run a high volume line with uncompromising standards. Ability to follow and uphold systems and controls. Must possess a valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card. Must have good communication skills, including: grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary and reading abilities. Strong honesty, integrity and guest-oriented philosophy. Salary Range & Benefits Starting salary range is $38k to $46k depending upon experience. Medical & dental insurance. Annual performance review including salary review. Paid vacation.
