Bench Scientist

Seeking a contractor to join the Pfizer Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism’s Enzymology group in Groton, CT. This laboratory-based role will support the carrying out of in vitro assays to investigate drug metabolism, enzyme kinetics, and drug-drug interactions. Responsibilities: Perform routine duties, which may include but are not limited to: The generation of samples from in vitro studies using biological matrices Analyzing samples by LC-MS/MS Data processing and reporting/presenting data Routine lab activities (e.g., stocking consumables, buffer preparation) Maintain an electronic lab notebook Responsible for general laboratory work involving the study of the metabolism of drugs in vitro Qualifications: BA with a minimum of 3+ years of experience, MA with a minimum of 1+ years of experience PhD candidates accepted Experience with HPLC-MS Pipetting experience required Strong analytical skills needed to interpret data Location/Shift: This is a fully onsite lab based role in Groton, CT Monday – Friday / First shift Please note contractors are engaged to provide services to Pfizer temporarily in connection with a specific assignment. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
