Anna Maria College, a private Catholic institution located in Paxton, Massachusetts, invites applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of leading and developing a competitive NCAA Division III softball program.
Responsibilities:
The Head Softball Coach will oversee the comprehensive management of the program, including but not limited to:
Providing leadership and direction for all phases of the softball program.
Planning and conducting practices, game preparation, and in-game coaching.
Identifying, recruiting, and retaining qualified student-athletes who align with the College’s academic and athletic standards.
Managing program budgets, team travel, and scheduling of games and practices.
Supporting the academic progress, personal development, and campus engagement of student-athletes.
Ensuring compliance with all College, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Supervising and mentoring assistant coaches.
Engaging with alumni and fostering program support and connections.
Qualifications:
Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining student-athletes.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture.
Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
