Overview
Governance, Policy, and Business Management Lead Analyst – C13 Note: This is an individual contributor role Capital Planning and Management owns the enterprise-wide capital planning and management processes for Citigroup and its legal entities. It ensures the integrity and efficiency of Citigroup and CBNA capital profiles, on both actual and forecasted bases, across the capital continuum from business as usual to stress environments consistent with CCAR and QMMF (Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Scenario Forecasting) assumptions. This function informs the Strategic Plan and supports safety & soundness of Citigroup and the financial system globally, including leadership in Recovery & Resolution Planning. All enterprise decisions that generate value, affect risk appetite, or maintain capital levels fall within the remit of this function. Key focus areas include Capital Planning, Capital Management, and Stress Testing. Capital Planning Manage the design and execution of Citigroup’s, Citibank N.A. (CBNA)’s, and other regulated entities’ planning process for risk-weighted assets (RWA) and capital actions (e.g., dividends and buybacks). Capital Management Determine and execute actions impacting RWA and/or buybacks/dividends to ensure Citigroup, CBNA, and other regulated entities meet all required capital targets. Stress Testing Manage design and execution of the ICAAP and Quarterly Multi-Quarter, Multi-Scenario Forecasting (QMMF) process. Within the Capital Planning and Management organization, the Governance, Policy, and Business Management Team develops Board / Board Committee and regulatory presentations, leads the Capital Planning budget process and staff resourcing, drives actions to enhance the organization’s culture, and contributes to strategic projects. Reporting to the Governance, Policy, and Business Management Lead, this role supports the Head of Capital Planning and Management and will help execute the strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide operating model execution support for the Capital Planning & Management Function Plan, lead, coordinate and support day-to-day activities relating to projects, including cross-functional initiatives Assist in the creation and governance of executive presentations and communications to internal and external stakeholders Monitor key upcoming meetings and deliverables across Capital Planning and Management; partner with key stakeholders to track progress and developments Assess risk in business decisions, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, uphold policy, apply ethical judgment, escalate and report control issues, and promote accountability among staff Qualifications
6-10 Years relevant experience Experience in managing highly visible deliverables and/or consulting experience Ability to dive into details while maintaining a strategic perspective Analytical and problem-solving skillset Experience with, and confidence in, developing presentations to senior management and external stakeholders Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Excellent oral and written communications; capable of providing direction with authority Knowledge of the financial services industry PowerPoint and Excel proficiency Education
