Shipping Associate

Nesco Resource is looking to hire a

Shipping Associate

in Rochester Hills, MI. This position is on the

first shift , with work hours between

7:00 AM and 3:30 PM , Monday through Friday. The

starting pay rate

for this position is

$18.00 per hour . The Shipping Associate will

prepare finished products to be packaged and shipped out to customers .

Duties and Responsibilities Associates will be responsible for the following tasks, including but not limited to:

Count and verify assemblies due to ship.

Move or transport material as a trained HI-LO Operator.

Prepare packaging material used on the production floor for items packed out by Manufacturing.

Record material used in the shipping process.

Ensure all Production and RMAs are shipped per the Shipping Instructions, using the correct packaging materials to ensure on-time shipments without damage.

Ensure all finished assemblies are pulled, counted, verified, and packages are marked correctly before turning in paperwork to Order Entry.

Verify and approve the quantities/assembly numbers on all shipping labels provided by the Order Entry.

Receive and sign for deliveries.

Assist the Shipping Supervisor with shipping discrepancies.

Assist with loading packages for shipping.
