$47,921.64 - $71,882.46 per year Hourly Range: $24.00/hr - $31.66/hr Job Summary:
Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals integral to the surgical team. They work under supervision of RNs and surgeons to facilitate surgical procedures, ensuring a safe operating environment, proper equipment function, and patient safety. They handle instruments, supplies, and equipment, anticipate surgeon needs, and maintain sterile fields. They can operate independently as scrub techs and assist as circulators under RN supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain sterile field Prepare operating rooms and assist with patient positioning Inspect sterile items for contamination and maintain sterility during procedures Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts following policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program (CST) NY State LPN license acceptable 1 to 3 years of scrubbing experience preferred Familiarity with all specialty services preferred Additional Information:
