Create and refine CMM inspection programs (using PC‑DIMS and MCOSMOS) for precision machined components Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to plan inspection approaches Select and set up appropriate fixturing, tooling, and configurations to enable consistent, accurate measurements Interpret engineering standards, drawings, and customer specifications to guide inspection requirements Oversee and validate inspections and tests to ensure product adherence to design and specification Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R studies to verify measurement reliability Produce and maintain quality documentation such as control plans, inspection plans, FAIs, and PPAPs to satisfy customer demands Confirm that process control documents and project deliverables meet contractual and quality obligations Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to integrate inspection processes Uphold a clean, structured, and safety‑compliant work environment in line with company guidelines MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Prior experience as a Quality Engineer or in a comparable role Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred Minimum of 3 years' experience programming CMMs In‑depth knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and inspection techniques Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards Demonstrated track record in quality inspection and assurance within manufacturing Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, SPC) for interpreting measurement data Comfortable working effectively in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment Collaborative team player with a constructive mindset and commitment to excellence Self-motivated, able to initiate and drive projects independently Must be a U.S. citizen What\'s on Offer
