Overview The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Section of Benign Hematology is recruiting for a clinical faculty member with commitment to a career in benign or non-malignant hematology.

Responsibilities and Qualifications Physicians with experience in clinical and/or basic science research, especially in cancer associated thrombosis, are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must show evidence of scholarly activity, scientific accomplishment, and skill in writing and communication. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in benign hematology research and scholarly activity that will enhance the academic environment of the institution. The selected candidate will also be expected to become familiar with appropriate funding mechanisms to support cancer-related benign hematology research and to assist with mentoring young faculty, fellows, and other trainees. The candidate will have protected time to lead and develop programs, perform research, and complete scholarly activities in keeping with the goals of the Section.

Compensation and Benefits This position has a target base salary of $418,585 to $508,649 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
