Responsibilities The Lead X-ray Technologist is responsible for day-to-day technical operation of the X-ray Department and for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations. This position requires moderate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative as well as providing guidance and training to technologists in order to maximize their development and growth.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
