We are currently partnering with a premier player in the mobility solutions domain to identify a charismatic and technically proficient leader for their Fleet Maintenance Management team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of ensuring customer safety and vehicle reliability in a fleet of modern vehicles.
Role Overview:
As the helm of the Fleet Maintenance unit, this role demands overseeing holistic vehicle wellness, from preventative maintenance to warranty submissions. The incumbent will also play an instrumental role in team leadership, vendor interactions, and managing the P&L performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead and supervise the team ensuring timely and quality adherence to repair order guidelines.
Manage external vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and financial prudence.
Oversee timely completion of vehicle recalls and proactive maintenance.
Streamline vehicle availability by minimizing downtime.
Champion warranty processes ensuring adherence to business plans.
Lead P&L performance indicators and overall productivity.
Engage in comprehensive talent management activities, from hiring to coaching.
Mediate and resolve employee relations issues maintaining a harmonious work environment.
Enforce safety protocols and standards within the workshop vicinity.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical supervisory experience.
Valid driver’s license accompanied by a commendable driving record.
Ability to undertake travel as per territorial demands.
Mastery in communication, time-management, and problem-solving.
Adeptness in technological assimilation and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Proactive attitude, especially in a high-paced, service-centric environment.
Advantageous Add-ons:
Familiarity with rental vehicle industry dynamics and collision repair.
Tertiary education in automotive technology or a Bachelor's degree.
ASE certifications or related automotive technical training.
