Job Description:
The Compensation Leader will work closely with key business leaders. The role is responsible for compensation strategies, tools, and programs that are internally equitable, externally competitive, and exemplify genuine care for our people.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Partner with Senior Leadership to establish a roadmap to align practices to the organizational Compensation philosophy.
Expand compensation practices and standards globally.
Research market data to determine the competitive position of our total compensation strategy.
Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of total compensation practices through strategic monitoring of business conditions, legal requirements, economic systems, and competitive practices within a regional and national business environment
Provide training and counsel to People Team Partners and Leaders regarding compensation-related matters such as evaluating new positions, job levels, job descriptions, promotions, and transfers
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the compensation function, and ensure that policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
Communicate and respond to inquiries regarding compensation policies, practices, programs, and guidelines; provide appropriate guidance and counsel
Conduct various compensation analyses and prepare summaries
Partner with our People Technologies team to evolve Workday infrastructure to provide dynamic access to compensation data, support equitable pay practices, and streamline compensation function responsibilities.
Participate in compensation-related projects in response to business needs
Required Education and Experience:
B.A./B.S. in related field
Minimum 7-10 years of Compensation experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred
Previous Workday experience is a plus
Job Specifications:
Advanced knowledge of compensation benchmarking survey tool(s) and demonstrated experience in compensation plan design and implementation
Research and analytical skills to gather and interpret data
Strong data analysis and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent judgment and discretion
Proven ability to multitask with a superior eye for detail
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing

Able to perform tasks or complete processes in ambiguous situations
Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
Supervisory/Responsibility:
Has leadership responsibility for the Compensation program and 1-2 direct reports
